Dr. Kautilya Mehta is Board Certified in Vascular Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Mehta is a member of the American Medical Association, Oklahoma State Medical Association, Oklahoma County Medical Association and American College of Surgeons, as well as the Society of Clinical Vascular Surgery and the International Society of Cardiovascular Surgery (North American Chapter). He has been active in the medical field for more than 30 years, and he began his practice in Oklahoma specializing in Peripheral Vascular Diseases and Vascular Surgery in 1980.
For “medical necessity” procedures under local anesthesia, Dr. Mehta uses the latest, minimally invasive techniques of Endovascular Laser Ablation, Vnus Closure, as well as Ambulatory Microphlebectomy for the treatment of venous disorders. Dr. Mehta is affiliated with St. Anthony Hospital, where he also performs inpatient surgical procedures for other peripheral vascular disorders. He also served as Clinical Instructor, Department of Surgery at the King Edward Memorial Hospital and G. S. Medical College in Bombay, India, and Clinical Instructor, Department of Surgery at New Jersey Medical School, and Staff Surgeon, VA Medical Center in East Orange, New Jersey, and Clinical Instructor, Department of Surgery at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Dr. Mehta has made numerous presentations nationwide, and he has written many publications on vascular diseases.
